The technique of inversion, the gravity and decompression on the spine is great.
The boots work very well to achieve this, however the ankles take some getting used to for comfort. For the price and the health benefit, these inversion boots are great!

These are made with high quality parts with the frequent user in mind. Strong clasp with a safety lock, easy on and off (when standing). No need to worry about breakage or wear and tear with these.

These inversion boots are exactly what i was looking for: They are rock solid - all steel construction; They are comfortable - thick padding, no strain on my ankles; They are safe - when you're hanging upside down, the last thing you want to think of is your boots breaking. I thought the price too high but took a chance. The boots are extremely well crafted. I'm 225lbs and have no worry about them holding me up. The construction is more than sturdy and worth the price.
And, it works! I've done just a few minutes a day before and after a workout and my back feels great all day. Even felt a pull in my abs and upper leg muscles for an added stretch.
If you are my weight, it does cause minor discomfort on the feet but who cares. The pain relief is worth it.

The exercises that can be performed with these and the pull up bar are very helpful. Abs are very tough but I have seen very encouraging results. As other reviewers have mentioned if one has slim ankles there is some soar felt. More padding must be added. Other than that is a very good buy, highly recommended. This is part of my basic gym now.
