Using the table at least once daily has helped me with my sacroiliac issues. My back kills me at the belt line, near my spinal column. Degenerative disk disease, etc. The table allows decompression of pinched nerves. It really helps.

At first my feet hurt terribly due to the foot securing mechanism's design used on this table. After using it for a month, I'm now able to hang freely vertical for as much as 1.5 min. I also can get relief fromthe pain, without as much foot discomfort, by hanging just short of vertical, allowing my back to slightly touch the table, and not putting quite as much weight on the tops of my feet. I'd have given the table five stars if the foot mechanism was more comfortable. But even after a month, the foot pain limits my use of the table.

I've added foam padding and tried different foot wear (work boots, rubber boots, loafers, sneakers, and others). I'd like to try another type of mechanism, as the round padded bar in the front and the vee shaped heel cups in the rear are just not very comfortable for me.

Assembly was easy, especially if you have a small socket set and don't have to use the little wrenches they provide.

The fabric-type back makes a popping noise as your weight shifts. That can be a little annoying, especially if others n the house are sleeping, as is the case when I get on it at 5:00 a.m. before going to work. I'm not sure if the padded type back would be less noisy. The table is sturdy enough. I weigh 220 and it handles me with no problem. It was delivered on time and so far it has done what the ad said it would do.

4 out of 5 stars "bat" table   June 2, 2010

some of the assembly steps were already done "out of the box" which made it easy to put together with included "tools", just slow; I had to break out real wrenches to torque fasteners down...speaking of which, unit arrived missing two important fasteners for attaching handlebars, and the retainer for foam foot pad locking pin arrived broken
a snap to use, after adjusting height to fit;

3 out of 5 stars Basic but works   March 9, 2010

This table is basic but well made and it works fine. Like all other tables there is some discomfort on the foot straps but a few trials with and without different shoes helped me find a combination that works with no pain at all.
the only weak point in the construction is the strap. the clasp of the strap is not secure and it slips so if you want to keep it at an angle and don't have a full inversion you need to go slowly and use your hands to take some of the weight of the strap so it doesn't extend and let you tilt more. Easily fixed at no cost but something the manufacturers should consider as an improvement.
Very sturdy and the material looks strong and long lasting.
Regardless of the particular table I would advise people to go slow and maybe try an inversion table at a gym before buying one. I have a back injury from a motorcycle crash and although it helps if i do it more than 2-3 times a week it becomes a problem, increasing the pain instead of reducing it. It is definitely a very strong treatment that needs to be thought adequately.
