Amazon.com Product Description Inversion therapy counteracts the forces of gravity on the body (particularly the back) by decompressing and elongating the spine. Not only can this relieve pressure on your spinal cord's ligaments and nerve roots, but it can also relax the back muscles that support the vertebrae. And when your back relaxes, the rest of your body invariably follows. The Body Champ IT8070 Inversion Therapy Table can make a great addition to your daily routine, and help to improve your circulation and posture while relieving muscle aches, back pain, and stress.
The IT8070 is easy to adjust, with a deluxe dual-pin system that lets you quickly find the right position (within a height range of 4' 7" to 6' 8"). It's also a breeze to use: once you rest your body against the pad and lock your feet behind the ankle supports, you simply reach your arms over your head. As your arms go up, your body will gradually invert until you're almost completely upside down. The only inputs are your energy and gravity itself. Construction features include a lower spring-loaded pull pin that allows for easy ankle adjustments; four safe and comfortable foam rollers; U-shaped handrails; a safety strap that lets you control the desired inverting angles; and a safety lock for when you aren't using the table.
The IT8070, which folds for easy storage, will support up to 250 pounds.

No complaints here!June 7, 2009 A. Barnard(Ok) 24 out of 24 found this review helpful
I have read all the reviews and petty complaints......fact is you can't beat the product for the price. Yes, it can be a little uncomfortable hanging upside down if your not wearing the right shoes and you are on the heavy side....."your hanging from your ankles people!" I do like the firm slim padded back and the easy adjustments. I'm 5'7 but I'm short waisted and long legged so it works best for me set on 5'9. My husband is 5'7 but he's short legged and long bodied and works perfect set on 5'7 for him. Look at your build and height. Oh, great for crunches too! BOTTOM LINE.... Yes, I would recomend this for anybody looking for a sturdy and simple inversion table.
Great!!!February 14, 2009 A. Howard(Southern California, USA) 15 out of 15 found this review helpful
I was worried it would be bad quality for what I paid, but it is great! We use it once a day, and our backs feel a lot better! It is great to use it after a long day on your feet and you get great sleep after using it! Totally worth getting one. It is very sturdy and very good quality! Folds up easy to put away but not too big to keep out. Amazon got it here very fast and in a big sturdy box...you do have to put it together though, but it does not take long! Enjoy!

Inversion tableJanuary 27, 2009 A. Pasquella 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I purchased this item on 12/26/08. Item came quick and was exactly as advertised. It took about 1 hour to assemble ( I laid all the parts out next to the description sheet) and went together without a problem.
My back was killing me before I started and hurt even more when finished assembling the table. So I hopped right on and flipped over about 75 degrees and hung there for as long as I could. This table will put a strain on your heels and ankles, so I added some extra padding around the foot restraints. Well after a few days of use, with each session no longer than 5 minutes, my back feels way better. I went for the bargin table and was not disappointed. It works, but pad those foot restraints.

This inversion table was a pretty good deal! I've wanted to try one for years, then when I developed sciatica I thought it might help. It hasn't done much for the sciatica, but my back feels better when I use it and I actually think I have better circulation. Plus, everyone in my family (and their friends) has had to try it! It's smooth, completely adjustable, and I got free shipping!
