| Customer Reviews: Great Table, but with minor flaws January 12, 2010 A. Hall 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
First off, inversion therapy is great, and that most likely goes for any table. If you have back pain then do it.
This table is one of the best i have seen of used, very stable, strong back, fold able, and the locking system works very well. i wouldn't try and move it very far it is very heavy, but being able to fold it can really save same room in a small space. its very stable, i weigh about 300 lbs and it hardly notices. it has a padded back that is very comfortable and feels supportive. the locking system works well it has several spots it can lock in to allowing you to work at a comfortable pace to the stretch you need.
that said i found some of the instructions hard to fallow when putting it together, and the screw set was not labeled, it did have all the tools for setting it up though. and the ankle locks are i bit hard to use if you have problems bending over.
all and all a good buy however, and i would recommend it to others.
Upside Down and Feeling Fine! January 26, 2010 COSavingsShopper (Colorado) Great Machine for relieving stress or working out! Assembly was a bit challenging in the directions however workable. The unit we purchased did not work properly so we contacted the manufacturer instead of calling Amazon. They were extremely helpful and sent out full replacment parts at no charge. Great service on their part. The machine tooka a few times to get used to as the "Rush of Blood to the Head" is not something you do every day prior to getting an inversion table. However, you learn to adjust the table to what feels comfortable for you. I immediatley felt the change in pressure on my spine and after using the unit a few times was even able to begin using it as a workout machine to tone my body. I had a problem with a pinched nerve and the unit appears to have helped with the problem. I like the adjustable positions and find it useful in fitting my comfort level and exercise needs.
Made a difference for me November 11, 2009 Dimitry Michann (New Jersey) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I've had the product for a little over a month. I use it for a few minuites just before I go to bed. I started feeling a difference in my back in just a couple of weeks. I used to wake up with stiffness, now theres none. I definitley recommend this to everyone with lower back pain.
The only cons I can think of:
Its very heavy. When the box arrives, don't move it alone or you will hurt your back even more. Don't even think that you will be folding it and putting it away ever.
The ankle restaints are a little uncomfortable when you are fully inverted. Wearing a pair of sneakers helps a lot though.
Great Product July 5, 2010 David I have had this inversion table for about two weeks now. So far I'm very satisfied. It does provide immediate yet temporary relief of back pain. I say temporary because it's too early to tell if I would get a long lasting relief from back pain. I will update you in few months.
Here are my observations:
- Package was a bit roughed up from its journey. It came with one of the plastic "cups" that go on the hinge of the stand broken. But I could do without that part since it's just an esthetic part of the equipment.
- Assembly was not too difficult. It took me a little over 4 hours to assemble it because I was watching TV too while assembling it. :) But, I believe it could be put together in about 2 hours.
- Manual is confusing on certain steps. The nuts and bolts were not labeled so, I had to rely on trial and error on certain steps.
- It does come with all the tools you need to assemble it. I.e..light weight screw driver etc.
- The headrest is not adjustable. It looked from the picture that you could adjust the headrest. But I ended up not needing to adjust it anyway, so no biggie.
- Like others mentioned, it's a bit painful on the feet if you are fully inverted for more than few minutes. Wearing sneakers or very think socks helps a bit. I come back up after few minutes to give my feet a break and invert again.
- The blood rushing into your head problem gets better as you get used to being inverted. Mine's almost gone by now. I no longer feel the blood rushing as much. Just a bit.
- The locking mechanism needs a bit getting used to. It may feel stuck or broken at first until you get used to it and know how it works.
- The equipment is very sturdy and feels "safe" while on it.
Overall, I'm satisfied. If you suffer from lower back pain related ailments this definitely will help you. I think I may have a mild case of sciatica and am hoping this tool will help relieve some of that so I could get back to what I love doing... running marathons!! Good luck!!!
Ruffed up February 10, 2010 William B. Demoulin Transaction went smoothly but when the product arrived iy was a little roughed up with some broken non essential parts that I was able to fix as I didn't want to deal with the hassle of trying to replace the parts or start all over.
